PRE-ORDER QUESTIONS

Why is the lead time 9 to 11 weeks?

We will be ordering our fabric and materials based on the needs of this community from the pre-order.  Due to COVID-19, our mill and factories are practicing social distancing on-site, alternating work schedules, and enhancing cleaning procedures to ensure a safe work environment.  This makes our lead times longer but ensures the safety of everyone in our supply chain.

What if I move before my order ships?

We will be confirming your shipping address before mailing pre-orders.

Can I return or exchange my pre-order items?

Yes, our normal return/exchange policy applies to pre-orders as well.  We will produce a small stock for exchanges in order to process exchanges.

Can you advise on fit and sizing for The Cutout Bralette and Reversible Bodysuit?

The Cutout Bralette and Reversible Bodysuit are true to size.  If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

 

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Where are you located?

We’re based in Los Angeles, California.  Our pieces are designed, cut and sewn in downtown LA.

Bras from bottles?  But how?

Here’s a snapshot of the magic:  Plastic water bottles labeled with the #1 on the bottom are the same chemistry make-up as polyester, which is called PET, or technically known as polyethylene terephthalate.  We think it is important to note that this material is BPA-free. In the recycling process, the bottles are sterilized, sorted and fed through a machine that breaks them into small flakes. These flakes are then heated and softened and pushed through a plate with tiny holes, coming out as thin filaments.  These filaments are spun on large rollers to form the yarn which is finally woven into our recycled polyester (rPET) fabric. 

Is there BPA in this fabric?

You can feel good knowing our bras are BPA-free.  Recycled polyester is made from plastic bottles with the #1 on the bottom.  This type of plastic is used for single use water bottles and food packaging and is always BPA-free.  In addition, all the fibers we use are certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) for recycled content claims and have received the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, ensuring that they are free of harmful levels of more than 100 restricted chemicals.

Do you ship internationally?

Outside of the US where we are based, we currently ship to Canada, UK and Australia.  We are working on expanding our shipping, so please sign up for our newsletter below to find out the latest news.

What’s your return policy?

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase which is why we offer free domestic returns and exchanges in the US. We accept domestic returns and exchanges postmarked within 30 days from the date your order was shipped. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Returns must be received in new condition; unused, unworn and unwashed. Items returned with obvious use, makeup, deodorant, perfume, or similar product stains will be subject to refusal. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Refunds cannot be returned to alternate cards or different forms of payment. Due to hygienic reasons, all underwear bottoms are FINAL SALE.

To initiate a return or exchange, email support@wearproclaim.com and include your order number and reason for return. We will email you a prepaid USPS return label. We encourage you to reuse the original poly mailer that your item was sent in, which comes with a second adhesive seal specifically for returns. Proclaim will not reimburse you for return shipping expenses if you do not use our prepaid return label. When your return is received and processed, we'll email you a refund notification. Please allow up to 14 days for processing.
